WHAT IS NATURAL?

The FDA has not defined the term "natural", so the majority of companies are considering everything as natural. VB Cosmetics knows and understands that consumers view the term natural as "coming from nature with very little processing." So we admit that our products are not 100% natural. Our products have as much natural ingredients as possible with small amounts of pure synthetic chemicals blended in to preserve the integrity of our products.

As a consumer, I absolutely have no idea what all those big words are listed under the ingredients, but I hope if I put my complete faith and belief in a company and its products they wouldn't let me down.

Here are a few big words that are preservatives in cosmetics: methylparaben, propylparaben and phenoxyethanol which are the most common. So read your ingredients well before buying if you are looking for "100%" natural. Water based products need a preservative to control growth of bacteria, mold and yeasts and "natural preservatives" aren't enough to control contamination and preserve shelf life. I don't want my products going bad before I even get to use them. So be careful out there and remember, sometimes the impurities in natural raw ingredients can be more dangerous that the synthetic chemicals that are pure.

Who's Responsible???

I read something that sparked feelings in me that I've had for many years, but never voiced. They are called anger and frustration. It seems like now a days people never take responsibility over their actions or in some cases stupidity. Why is that? Always wanting someone to blame or in many cases sue. This is suppose to be the land of the free. Free to make choices, Free to make decisions, Free to accept responsibility. Well we do pretty much everything except take the blame for our own actions.

The first thing I can remember is the hot coffee incident against a fast food chain. Well I'm smart enough to know when I order coffee it's going to be hot and if I'm stupid enough to drive while trying to drink it, then it's my fault and I take full blame. Also I'm an adult and if I choose to smoke knowing the possibility of health problems, again that is my fault and no-one else. How about eating at fast food restaurants everyday and super sizing? Which results putting on alot of weight. Now I'm fat and ready to sue. But we have made is so easy for people to blame and sue over their own choices and decisions that it completely amazes me.

Now someone is suing a company over anti-aging not performing. Please, everyone knows not every product works the same on everyone. Even I know that and if it takes me a year to figure that out, something is wrong. I give new products three or maybe six months to show results. No results, no more buying and continue to look. I don't really believe that I will stop aging, that's totally impossible. I age everyday that goes by and every year when I celebrate my birthday. I work for a company that specializes in skin care products. Not every product works on me. Actually some of our products work better on one of my co-workers than me. So maybe I should sue her since my skin type and genetic make is different from hers. Or better yet, why don't I find a product that does work on me. WOW what a unique concept, taking responsibility instead of blaming a company for something they have no control over: like my skin type and genetic make or even how I treat my body. Maybe I smoke, drink and don't eat the right foods or maybe I'm a sun goddess who doesn't believe in sunscreen. But now I want something to reverse all the damage I have done. Please, like that will ever happen. This reminds me of my children. They know if they do something they aren't allowed to do, and there will be consequences, they do it anyway. Then they will blame the parents when they get punished. This is what we are teaching our children. Don't take responsibility, blame and or sue someone. Try it, it seems to work.

I'm sure not everyone will agree with me and that's the beauty of living in the land of the FREE.

GENTLEMEN NEED SKIN CARE TOO!!!

OK Guys, I hate to bust your bubble ( not really), but you also age. I am totally convinced whoever said when men age they get "distinguished looking" was most definitely a man. How come they get distinguished and we get old? Don't get me wrong, some men do get distinguished, like my husband (just in case he reads this), but not everyone. Just like some women age gracefully and some don't. We can all benefit from using great skin care products like Abrioné.®

I'm just letting you know VB Cosmetics' products can also help you and the best thing is they don't have a strong scent that last forever. My own son (15) uses the clean slate, vanishing point and cell renewal. Another co-worker's son (23) uses the clean slate and cell renewal along with the microdermabrasion scrub. Even the owner's son (34) uses the clean slate and also the balancing toner as an aftershave.

So distinguished gentlemen, we have men from 15-34 using VB Cosmetics' Abrioné® skin care. The really good thing is you can go to our website and buy all the products from there, in total privacy. Go there, browse around and let me know what you think. Comments are always welcome and there is a place on the site.

What is Palmitoyl Pentapeptides?

Who Cares!!! As long as it makes me appear to look younger without injecting(ouch) botulinum neurotoxin in my face I'm all for it. Wouldn't you be? Hey, I'm getting older, I don't want to look 20 again but 30 would be nice.

Okay, back to my question.
A peptide is a small protein made up of amino acids.
Pentapeptides is a chain of five amino acids that stimulate collagen production, skin thickness, and reduce surface roughness and depth of wrinkles.

All I know is VB Cosmetics'
cell renewal and anti-aging has been working on me and when my husband says "Honey, you look younger today" (without ulterior motives,) that's good enough for me. Wouldn't you want your spouse/significant other to say you look younger also? So go to our website, check out our products and let me know what you think.

About Vivian Valenty

Vivian Valenty Attractive, energetic and refined, Dr. Vivian Valenty in many ways is what you would expect to find when meeting the CEO of a cosmetic company. At age 60, a wife of 35 years and a mother of two, she claims her youthful beauty is the result of using the products she has created. Her secret is in the unique way she formulates her products, exploiting her extensive knowledge of the science that goes into creating skin care and other personal care products.

Vivian grew up in the Philippines under challenging conditions, but with hope and determination, she has exceeded expectations in creating her successful business. From an early age, Vivian learned that the herbs growing in her family’s garden not only provided food, but also supplied an important healing source. Family remedies passed down for generations were the basis of her earlier experiments.

Vivian studied chemistry at MapÚa Institute of Technology in Manila, where her achievements and work at the International Rice Research Institute earned her the opportunity to pursue graduate studies in the United States at the Pennsylvania State University. After earning a doctorate in chemistry, Vivian taught at Skidmore College, performed research for the New York State Department of Health, generated patents on products synthesized from corn, and developed new silicone-based materials for GE.

After inventing and successfully patenting the first UV curing topcoat to quickly dry freshly applied nail polish in 1990, Vivian decided to pursue her own interests and created VB Cosmetics, Inc. Her persistent research to create unique products that she is proud to put her name on has paid off. While continuing to develop and produce a broad range of private label products, VB Cosmetics has recently launched its first high quality anti-aging product line under the brand Abrioné. Abrioné’s Anti-Aging Skin Care Ambrosia is composed of a group of products that, when used consistently, creates youthful looking skin.
Vivian is a walking testimonial to the effectiveness of these products and the successful application of hard work, perseverance, focus and determination.
