Skin Care for Men

I have been reading alot lately on how men want good skin care. Women, it's not just about us any longer; men are starting to invade what was mostly our territory. But that's okay, now they can't complain about how much our skin care products cost.

Back to my main point (yes, I have one)! There are products for men and products for women. Most likely they are the same product with different scents. Myself personally, I don't like perfumes or fragrances in my facial care products. I like to feel fresh and clean. I don't want to smell a scent all day long and I also don't want to smell someone else's scent, which could lead to a headache. So for men and women who want great benefits and results from their facial care products without the perfumes or fragrances, then Abrioné is the one for you.

Vitamin C

Researching on the benefits of Vitamin C, I noticed all the articles basically stated the same thing. Vitamin C is a popular anti-aging ingredient in skin care and one of the most effective. Research says Vitamin C can help boost the production of collagen, which is essential in keeping our skin firm and toned (okay, I'm liking Vitamin C already). It is also a powerful anti-oxidant that helps fight the free radicals of our environment which includes; smoke, pollution and (with it being summer time) sun damage. Now even though I read it can help protect skin from UV damage, please still use sun screen. I cannot express the importance of sun screen.

WHAT GIVES????

While going over our website stats I looked to see what keywords browzers are using that gets them to our site. Interesting!! There are alot of great words that come up. For example: anti-aging cosmetics, natural, microdermabrasion, sea kelp, innovative, moisturizers, passionflower, algae extracts, scrubs, sunflower cosmetics, pentapeptides palmitoyl, and prestige skin cell renewal care. Of course VB Cosmetics and Abrione are also on the list. So it does seem like the keywords are bringing guests to our site and we definitely use the ingredients they are looking for, so what gives? Is it because we aren't a big name brand (yet) or is it because we don't cost an arm and leg ( hopefully never we want all women to use our products). I just don't get it. Our products are fantastic and I know they work. Are consumers afraid to try something other than brand names? That is a shame, even big name brands at some given time were an unknown. So by all means consumers please fill me in on what I most definitely don't understand. What is the harm in trying different products that don't cost big bucks? If you don't like them, stop using and if you do like them, think of the money you are saving. Looking at alot of BIG name brand products, there is nothing extra special about them. So come on; why not turn an unknown into a BIG brand name then you can say I used them when........

Doesn't Anyone Read The Whole Word Anymore??????

It has come to my attention that people just don't know how to read properly or are just too lazy. How about the NO turn on red, that sign is there for a very good reason. There is a blind spot and it is too dangerous to make a right turn on red. I counted five and yes I will say it, IDIOTS who turned right on red and there is no way they didn't see the sign since there are two of them. One idiot even had to slam on there brakes because believe it or not another car who had the green light came at them. An accident waiting to happen. Also how about those donation dumpster for clothes only, clearly marked clothes only, and every time I go by, there are mattresses and furniture, usually broken, and other junk. Again we are too lazy to read or just too lazy to drive to the nearest place to donate it properly. What is wrong America? Reading is a gift, a really wonderful gift taught to us when in grade school. When we were little we really had to work at learning to read and now? I love to read, so maybe that is why I don't understand how people can mistake one brand of skin care for another. All you would have to do is READ the entire word and you will see they are two different brands. They don't even look alike, but because people see the first letter and seem to stop reading after that, they just assume they know what brand they saw. Well, you don't, you have to keep reading the rest of the word. Do you just read the first letter of someone's name and just assume because the letter is a L that the name is Larry when in fact it could be Lorre. Please America, use the wonderful gift of reading that you fought so hard to learn in grade school, not just for brand names but also for all those fabulous books, there is a whole world out there. Teach our children to read the whole word, not just the first letter.

NATURAL/SYNTHETIC

Again people amaze me. Everyone has an opinion, heck even I do. The latest are articles regarding 100% natural without synthetic preservatives and how bad those preservatives are for us. It's sometimes hard to believe people when they write in one line about the bad preservatives when in the next line they let you know their products are completely natural and free of harmful preservatives. To me, that is just to much bull. If you want me to buy your products, just tell me you are 100% natural without trying to convince me all the other products with preservatives are not good for me.
Everyone is quick to let me know how bad parabens are and what type of other products they are in, along with defects and diseases they're linked with. How come they don't let me know that they are also used as preservatives in those same products, or how much is used, or how much is harmful? How about mentioning the other ingredients in those products that are probably much more harmful, give me the whole story not just what makes you look good.
Well, you may be happy to know or not that I recently read an article of a study finding natural cosmetics toxic. People don't understand, using the highest quality of raw materials is great, but you must find a way to preserve the integrity of the products or they will go bad. In this article it states preservative free products can harbor yeast, bacteria and fungus that are dangerous to customers skin. Don't tell me you use natural preservatives because my next question will be is what is preserving your natural preservative?
I believe if every ingredient is balanced and synthetic preservatives are used at a low dosage, I will be safe. Heck they say botox is harmless and that is a toxin, plus I heard in the news guzzling too much water can kill. Are we going to stop drinking water? NO!!!

Who's Opinion!! How Disgusting!!

I've been reading articles regarding a variety of different subjects. A cosmetic cop sure has a strong opinion about anti-wrinkle products versus botox. Well, if botox is so harmless because you receive a small dose, how many dosages does it take to make it harmful? Does your body absorb the toxin? Please don't tell me you can't tell when people receive injections, your facial muscles are paralyzed , you can't smile. I remember hearing a couple of years ago on the radio after a big awards show that a certain star looked constipated all night long with their face in one position. Now that was funny.
On to the next subject. How about reading about a company over seas using skin and other parts from executed prisoners in their cosmetic products. By the way, they seem to have the highest rate in executions. Also companies using placentas. What about diseases? Where do we draw the line? Now that is just plain disgusting.
I'm sorry people, but I want to know what I'm putting on my face and body and it better not be someone else's body part. That's why I use Abrione, not just because I work here, but if I have a question about ingredients, I know I will get an honest answer and so will you. We are proud of our line and every product is manufactured here in Arizona. We shop around to find the highest quality of ingredients both natural and synethic.

Anti-Aging!! Younger Looking!!

We all want to look good no matter the age. We buy great products, like Abrione, we work out(well maybe most of you do), and we try to eat healthy(most of the time). Yet, we still want that beautiful golden tan that makes us look radiant and healthy. I used to lie in the sun (many years ago) with just a bottle of baby oil and a spray bottle. You didn't think about skin cancer, sunscreen or your skin getting an old leathery look later (I'm not that old). Now I'm watching my husband have basal skin cancer removed, not just burned off, but cut deep with alot of stitches, because he waited too long. Next he has two removed, one on each arm and in November a spot on his forehead removed. Of course now he tells me when he goes in for his arms, which is very soon, he's going to ask the doctor how long it will take to heal, because if it takes as long as his neck, still healing, he will have to postpone since he got drawn for an elk hunt at the end of September and he wants to be able to shoot his gun, muzzle loader, that has alot of kick ( I'll kick him). That's my guy. (I'm upping the life insurance.)

It's bad enough our face tells our age, but now our hands do as well and I'm sure our feet aren't too far behind. Isn't there any part of my body that doesn't tell my age? Unfortunately, probably not, it's all me.

Well then, it's a good thing I use prestige skin care products like Abrione. Heels, Elbows, Knees, and Toes

Isn't there a song something like that? Oh wait, that's head, shoulders, knees and toes. Well anyway, my point is this: Do you have heels that split, crack and hurt when you walk? I did, until I used Abrione's Heels and Elbows. It is one of the first products I used and totally love it. My heels don't crack and split anymore. They used to get so bad; I could pull chunks of skin off. (Of course that hurt even more.) Then I tried a sample of Heels and Elbows: twice a day and once a week used a pumice stone. I was amazed how smooth my heels were and still are. I still use the product everyday and the pumice stone once a week. Oh and my elbows, they are just as smooth.

Chakra signifies one of seven energy centers in the body that corresponds to the seven main nerve centers. The chakra system has been used for thousands of years as an integral part of holistic healing originating from the ancient Hindu system. The seven main chakras reflect aspects of consciousness and govern our lives, loves, learning and spiritual awakenings. Here at VB Cosmetics we have made it easy to purchase all seven of the energy centers in the form of masques.

1. Red: is associated with the first chakra; Muladhara. This hot color represents our vitality, physical strength and most importantly our life energy. Muladhara governs physical needs and security.
2. Orange: represents the second; Svadhisthana. This warm color symbolizes energy, invigoration, sweetness and confidence. Svadhisthana governs sexuality, emotions and desires.

WHAT IS NATURAL?

The FDA has not defined the term "natural", so the majority of companies are considering everything as natural. VB Cosmetics knows and understands that consumers view the term natural as "coming from nature with very little processing." So we admit that our products are not 100% natural. Our products have as much natural ingredients as possible with small amounts of pure synthetic chemicals blended in to preserve the integrity of our products.

As a consumer, I absolutely have no idea what all those big words are listed under the ingredients, but I hope if I put my complete faith and belief in a company and its products they wouldn't let me down.

Here are a few big words that are preservatives in cosmetics: methylparaben, propylparaben and phenoxyethanol which are the most common. So read your ingredients well before buying if you are looking for "100%" natural. Water based products need a preservative to control growth of bacteria, mold and yeasts and "natural preservatives" aren't enough to control contamination and preserve shelf life. I don't want my products going bad before I even get to use them. So be careful out there and remember, sometimes the impurities in natural raw ingredients can be more dangerous that the synthetic chemicals that are pure.

I read something that sparked feelings in me that I've had for many years, but never voiced. They are called anger and frustration. It seems like now a days people never take responsibility over their actions or in some cases stupidity. Why is that? Always wanting someone to blame or in many cases sue. This is suppose to be the land of the free. Free to make choices, Free to make decisions, Free to accept responsibility. Well we do pretty much everything except take the blame for our own actions.

The first thing I can remember is the hot coffee incident against a fast food chain. Well I'm smart enough to know when I order coffee it's going to be hot and if I'm stupid enough to drive while trying to drink it, then it's my fault and I take full blame. Also I'm an adult and if I choose to smoke knowing the possibility of health problems, again that is my fault and no-one else. How about eating at fast food restaurants everyday and super sizing? Which results putting on alot of weight. Now I'm fat and ready to sue. But we have made is so easy for people to blame and sue over their own choices and decisions that it completely amazes me.

Now someone is suing a company over anti-aging not performing. Please, everyone knows not every product works the same on everyone. Even I know that and if it takes me a year to figure that out, something is wrong. I give new products three or maybe six months to show results. No results, no more buying and continue to look. I don't really believe that I will stop aging, that's totally impossible. I age everyday that goes by and every year when I celebrate my birthday. I work for a company that specializes in skin care products. Not every product works on me. Actually some of our products work better on one of my co-workers than me. So maybe I should sue her since my skin type and genetic make is different from hers. Or better yet, why don't I find a product that does work on me. WOW what a unique concept, taking responsibility instead of blaming a company for something they have no control over: like my skin type and genetic make or even how I treat my body. Maybe I smoke, drink and don't eat the right foods or maybe I'm a sun goddess who doesn't believe in sunscreen. But now I want something to reverse all the damage I have done. Please, like that will ever happen. This reminds me of my children. They know if they do something they aren't allowed to do, and there will be consequences, they do it anyway. Then they will blame the parents when they get punished. This is what we are teaching our children. Don't take responsibility, blame and or sue someone. Try it, it seems to work.

I'm sure not everyone will agree with me and that's the beauty of living in the land of the FREE.

OK Guys, I hate to bust your bubble ( not really), but you also age. I am totally convinced whoever said when men age they get "distinguished looking" was most definitely a man. How come they get distinguished and we get old? Don't get me wrong, some men do get distinguished, like my husband (just in case he reads this), but not everyone.
